Looks like the generator is a bicycle hub motor, that is not a bad idea.

Can the Dump Load terminals be ran to a grid tie inverter some way or another?

Making one of the units portable is a really nifty idea, one I wouldn't have thought of myself. I'm sure that it can be used in many applications, especially if you live in an arctic region. Thanks for sharing.

well, its not really portable unless you have a pickup truck or a car with a rear seat that folds and allows access to the trunk for the 2 meter tower sections.

I installed one of these in concrete. The portable version was created because it was too cold (Below Zero) to pour concrete the week I received the turbines.
