  • I installed one of these in concrete. The portable version was created because it was too cold (Below Zero) to pour concrete the week I received the turbines.

  • Looks like the generator is a bicycle hub motor, that is not a bad idea.

  • Can the Dump Load terminals be ran to a grid tie inverter some way or another?

  • Making one of the units portable is a really nifty idea, one I wouldn't have thought of myself. I'm sure that it can be used in many applications, especially if you live in an arctic region. Thanks for sharing.

  • well, its not really portable unless you have a pickup truck or a car with a rear seat that folds and allows access to the trunk for the 2 meter tower sections.
