hank comes from the combination of hang and tank. the hank hill reference is actually just coincidental. you should try finding a way to dampen the resonance from the inside as to not have the chords wrapped around the outside. for selling aesthetic purposes.

Hi Buda, Check out my video that I replied to yours with. I made the mallets with dowels and rubber balls. I find your mallets are far too hard and are not bringing out the hank's true tones. Other than that, they look good!
