This donkey was hit with a .375 Ruger using 300gr Woodleigh RN PP projectiles at 150m. You can see the hydrostatic shock that is put into the animal with a frontal chest shot. This hunt took place in NT and is one of the many game that was taken on this trip.

People tend to whinge about animal hunts etc. all the time. With the exception of most law abiding hunters, there are Laws in place governing seasons in which hunters are allotted a quoter or bag limit. The only time a hunter has no limit on his animal is when an eradication program or culling order is in place. I however do condone reckless behavior with firearms on any level. Safety = Fun. nuf sed

@A320PYLT In Aus these are officially an invasive/noxious/pest animal. Yes, they damage the environment. Its kinda like allowing spiders to live in your house. You dont want them there, even if they don't do any harm to you.
Spiders may be a bad example. Arachnids vs mammals thing. And yes, people here do eat Donkey. Same with camals, horses, buffalo, etc.
Cheers.

As long as this donkey was taken for meat there really isn't much argument against it. This seems like a nice clean kill. But if that's just for fun you're one sick bastard.

@bow2theprincess It was shot as a cull animal as theses are regarded as a major pest in some areas. I dont know anyone that would eat donkey unfortunately
