  • @craig1102003 Ah OK that's interesting and slightly different to what I have been told. There where other organs which came from the stores or yard at Sutton. I believe there was several Bruder organs which had Chiappas name on them as well as an Imhof Barrel organ used on a cake walk which a dealer bought and a 87 key Gavioli which went to the same dealer. There was also a very derelict 98 which came out of a Dragon scenic but l think that got broke up sadly. Did you visit Sutton at all?

  • @cellopipe - the ex Tom Smith organ was never used at Sutton Park. The Gallopers were sold to a distance member of the Collins familey, modernised and sited at Alton Towers. The organ, and other parts were later abandoned in Sutton Park. There was scrap machines from Collins's and elsewhere, it was seen as a convenient dumping ground by a number of people. When the lease on the park expired, only Gumbles Chairoplane Organ, Collins's Scenic organ and Tom Smith's Gavioli were saved

  • There are about 750 pipes on the organ. Not many for such a large one really, but quite an unusual mixture. Sorry for appearing on the vid waving my arms about-someone was asking about the pipe layout and i was trying to show him, helped by my little lad dancing about in front of the organ as usual!

  • Great vid. Btw at some venues when u see this organ watch out for the bright yellow burrell showmans engine that somtimes comes with it. You cant miss it.
