The chorus is completely out of my range, so you will have to forgive me haha. I tried singing it an octave lower, but that ended up being a mess. I could have changed the key or whatnot, but that wouldn't have been terribly faithful to the original haha.
Serial Experiments Lain was an excellent anime (as someone who does not watch very many), and if any of you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest you do if you're into something deeper and a little experimental

  • Loved the anime, loved the opening song, and love this cover!

  • @zoziszozis Why thank you. I'm glad you liked it!

  • can you tell me chords for this i just started playing and this is my favourite song!!

  • G, Bm, Am

    The whole song is just a couple different combos of those chords. Hope I helped!!

  • Really good job! I haven't watched the anime yet but I'm thinking about buying it. I've love this theme song to it, it is so amazing.

  • Thanks! If you do have any remote interest in it, I would definitely suggest you watch it. It can definitely be a little weird, but the theme song perfectly makes up for it :D

  • solo tab? please.. :)

  • Try tuning it down to D♯/E♭ or C♯/D♭ no harm in that, chorus range is a pain even for a female singer I play with

  • yeaah. great O_O

  • @Horrorscope35 Just to elaborate a bit, the Bm tends to sound best I find if I leave my high E open which I think would make it a Bm(11). Also, I'm unsure on the Am there, I always play that chord as an Em7. The real challenge I found was getting the bass notes worked into a solo guitar, for example on the opening G if you play a half bar standard G and then open your lower strings (makes it a Gsus2/E or something odd like that) it emulates the bass perfect. Nice work though man, fun song.

  • @Horrorscope35 *nod* straight forward...only a couple little things, on the Bm try leaving your high E string open, it gives it a "ring" that fits the recording well. There's a few F shaped runs I tend to pull off on the chorus too, the "I am falling" is indeed an E, but if you try a quick 7h9 on the A string and then a 7 no the D...then follow that quick with a G5, D5 (V fret), and A5 (V fret), it emulated the bass beautifully, makes it sound fuller. All around BEAUTIFUL work thought

  • great cover~~~

  • awesome man, good job. (;

    5 stars for u

  • Wow, thats amazing. Beautiful, not just for a guy but for an overall person, male or female XD Great job!

    I'm proud of you! haha
