Barrett Jones, University of Alabama, 2011 Outland Trophy Winner.
Bobby Bell, University of Minnesota, 1962 Outland Trophy Winner.

This video was created on January 11, 2012 at Boys town, Nebraska.
At Boys Town, Jones and former Minnesota and Kansas City Chief great, Bobby Bell had the chance to visit with students and the press. For Barrett Jones, whose Alabama team won the National Championship a few nights before, his first ever trip to Nebraska has been a whirlwind.
"I don't think it's quite sunk in yet. It's been a crazy 48 hours. And I'm looking forward to going back and enjoying it with my teammates."
Jones will receive his Outland during the annual banquet on January 12 at the Omaha Downtown DoubleTree. The junior is the third Alabama offensive lineman to win the award in the past 13 years.
Another was Chris Samuels in 1999. Jones said it was a memorable moment when Samuels found him after the game Monday night and offered congratulations for both the Outland and the national championship.
"There are so many great people who have won this award," Jones said during the January 11th press conference at Boys Town. "I hope I can live up to half the standard they set and what this award's all about."
As a Golden Gopher, Bobby Bell was a two-time All-American, played in two Rose Bowls and was part of the 1960 AP and UPI national championship team.
Bell was one of the greats during the NFL-AFL merger, playing from 1963 through '74. He won Super Bowl IV with Kansas City and the Chiefs retired his No. 78. The Outland was one of his college highlights, and Bell said he's glad that his oldest son and a grandson are making the trip to Omaha with him to receive the trophy he lived without for almost 50 years.
Bell will be in Omaha to receive his 1962 Outland Trophy and looks forward to replacing the old plaque that hangs in the family room of his Kansas City home.
