Mass Effect 3: Kinect Trailer

Watch Mass Effect 3's impressive Kinect-powered voice commands in action in this latest trailer from EA and BioWare. The Kinect microphone will allow players to issue commands to squadmates, activate Shepard's powers, and even engage in conversation by controlling the dialogue wheel. Mass Effect 3 is set to be released on Xbox 360 on 3/6/12. ME3 will also be coming to PS3 and PC.

Just because Kinect functionality will be there doesn't mean that you have to use it! Christ almighty so many of you are getting butthurt just because Kinect exists. If you don't think that it is a good addition, then just don't fucking buy Kinect! Your problem is solved right there. Also there is no need to get pissed off at Microsoft for trying to innovate, and if you think the advertising is hyped up, just fucking ignore it!

I feel there is need to clarify something. The game does not need Kinect to function. It's an option that individuals who already own the kinect can enable. Kind of like Infamous: festival of blood and the playstation move. Ergo, if you don't own the kinect or own one, but don't want this feature enabled, you can still play the game without the kinect or voice commands.

While I don't endorse controlling shepard through voice commands I can see great potential in the option to command the team's abilities by voice rather than pausing the game and selecting shit on a menu wheel . . .
