LOAD MASTER SANITATION TOY TRUCK - CHILD GUIDANCE

This is a video of a toy truck I rebuilt. I had this identical truck when I was a little boy around 1970-72, but it was destroyed during my brother's "fit O rage". After an extensive search, I found this one on eBay and rebuilt it.

It's called a Load-Master Sanitation truck. It was made by Child Guidance and was distributed through Child World toy stores (now defunct) in the late 60's early 70's.

The box it came in states; "It's Really Real!".

@p10xy0us0cky Well, I paid a few hundred for it over 5 years ago, and it was broken in pieces and didn't work at all. Since then, I've turned down selling it for over a $1000. more times than I can count. Just a few days ago, a guy wanted to buy the battery compartment door and light bulbs for $150. I said no to that of course.  These are rare, but maybe you can find one on eBay cheap???

@p10xy0us0cky Like I said... "maybe you can find one one eBay". These are very rare trucks, and the few I've seen on eBay went fast and for big money. I haven't seen another one on eBay in almost a year.

The City of Chicago used the style garbage truck back in the 60s-70s painted light blue with gold rims & plow hitch on grill.It was on a international chassi I remember it well its number was 854.
