I've gotten in trouble for sharing this exact message. There is one point I feel is missed, though.
You can 'commit a sin' (the NOUN) without knowing. David mentions this briefly in Psalm 19:12. This means there ARE sins we commit and not know, but based on the definition of sin as a VERB, I don't believe we will account for each one we commit if we can't comprehend perfect right and wrong. We are all imperfect, and do wrong every day - which is why God showed mercy through His Son.
The only problem I have with this is that Kris said you would have to answer to God for potentially running over someones foot. Didn't Jesus actually already answer for us? Genuinely asking, not trying to be a jerk... I love Kris V!!
My only question is where is the accountablity when you've hurt another person unintentionally? We need to apoligize when we've hurt a person by what we say or do. It may not be a sin, but we still should be accountable for what we did.
But because Jesus came and was that atonement for our sin those sins intentional or unintentional are covered by his sacrifice for us. Which brings me to think that ezekiel 45:20 does not now hold grounds to our life, but is there to show us what bound us and what the Jesus did for us by laying his life down for us.... i guess thats just my take on it, but i really like this video.
i may not know a lot about God and stuff, but if you go back to the beginning of the video and listen about what he is saying about abraham and the law and stuff being brought in, you can kinda get a little insight into that question i think.
I think i am kinda understanding this now, but God gave us the law to show us our sin and sacrifices were made because the guideline was set out.
@con1ah Ezekiel 45:20 (New International Version)
20 You are to do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins unintentionally or through ignorance; so you are to make atonement for the temple.
Hebrews 9:7 (New International Version)
7But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

This is incredible. "The only way you can sin is to know that what you're doing is wrong and doing it anyway." So true.
