My Logic Studio Composition #1: Voices in the Wind (Semi Orchestral Version)

I first wrote this piece in 1993 using Yamaha PSR2700. It was bits and pieces and never completed it. Then, I upgraded to Triton and wrote it again. It was more like experimenting the instruments for the song and again, it never completed. Finally today, I decide to publish it after having 'completed' it using Logic Studio 9. I think it could still be better and I didn't really do any touch up, though I did minimal quantization. Do send in your feedback and comments. Gears used: Macbook, Korg X3 workstation as MIDI controller, a cup of coffee and a few sticks of cigarette, and a good mood at 1.31am.

nice composing im hoping that logic will be a great choice since i moved from pc using other software to compose orchestral music so far this video has helped me alot.

it sounds very inspirational but my only fault i found is the percussion and drums or the lack of both. The drums sound generic sort of but the composition is tight. I wish could of heard a 6 peice orchestra instead of the typical synth strings. But besides that...Keep on making music!

thanks biggareid for the priceless comment. true, a friend told me something about the percussion too which i didnt really get it. let me do a bit of study and will see if i can do some improvement on the percussions. erm.. 6-pc orches.. need to find that out too, coz im not classically trained :), so i was thinking of more a new age piece but with a slight taste of orches percussion. well, thanks again!!!!!!
