You did an awesome job. I did my daughters hair also. I had a lady stop me yesterday about my locks and she asked if i would do hers. OF COURSE I will. I love the journey and helping others get the "look of sisterlocks" I use a plastic yarn needle for my tool. it produces the same results for .99 cents. check out my vid on mommy locks. Again GREAT JOB

You did very well. They look like they were done by a professional. And your mum has beautiful healthy hair. Its nice to see 3 generations of true black beauty: your mum, you and your gorgeous daughter! Stay blessed :)

WOW....
I saw the sister locs and yours look the same!! Keep up the good work. I just found out about box (square) parting vs. diamond shape parting. Did you square part?

Thanks! I square part. I haven't mastered the diamond parting.

Ha! I remember when I first loc'd my hair with braids..I so felt like I looked like Johnny Kemp. Hair was all thin and stringy looking. Thankfully, my locs plumped up beautifully. :)
With my braidlocs, my braid pattern eventually disappeared. It took about 1 year. A lot of folks told me I had to cut the braid, but within time the braid disappeared.
Have fun on your loc journey!
