@lihzh It won't work as well when you see all three in one go because you'll notice the actor's face doesn't change but if you saw each bit separately it'd work better. Hitchcock also explained it with better clips so look for his video. Might work then

@MikaylaReevesTV Even though the shot of the man is the same, the viewer reacts and imposes his/her expectations onto the shot. So we see the soup, and a look of indifference. We see the dead girl, we assume the man is sad. We see the beautiful woman, we think the man looks like he desires her- even though the show of the man was the same each time. This isn't the best example of it, but it does work pretty well. How film uses psychology.

@MikaylaReevesTV The context changes in every part, in the first part you'll think the man is hungry because he looks to the food. And in the second part you'll see him looking to a dead child, and then you'll think he's crazy while the shot of the man didn't changed.
