Dude, the reason this seems so wrong to me is because the other guy is like...twice his age. I have no problem with same-sex/homosexual/gay/whatev­er the hell we want to call it relationships, but I always saw their relationship more as father-son and this sort of ruins that for me. :(

How the heck are we sick bastards? There is no evidence in the movie showing that these two are straight now is there? When do we ever see Jim or Silver attracted to women. And it's our own interpretations, there is evidence there that this could've been more than just friendship- but a kids movie would never go into the homosexual aspect of the relationship. And by turning the characters gay we're not doing it just for the sake- most yaois are based off evidence giving in films

@Fackinfine I know the movie ain't about romance, I knew that all along. I was just pointing out earlier that there was no evidence to give that Silver and Jim were straight. And I can see it as both a father son relationship or something more. But I know what you mean by the pedophilia thing, I'd forgotten how old Jim is, but on my behalf, I did originally think he was 18.

although i can't see silver and jim past the father-son dynamic, i think it is within the rights of ppl to interpret however they please the characters's relationship with one another. i applaud for whoever made this because this person made it for their and others' imagination and happiness. i am not against happiness, so therefore i see nothing wrong with this. :)
