We headed out to The Ranch in Anza, California, for the chance to ride the all-new 2012 Kawasaki 250F. After the Kawi saw a big change in 2011, the 2012 version only saw minor changes to the transmission and motor, as well as an all-new Digital Fuel Injection system. Hear what we had to say...

  • @kickenass13 Honestly dude I love 2 strokes a little more because they just so much lighter and I feel like they move quicker but they just require more maintenance than a 4 stroker. Now days alot of people have 4 strokes so that means there is gonna be more parts for them when that time comes. I would go with the KX250F because its just more reliable these days. But thats just my opinion ! Also they're gonna be a little more pricey but remember, you get what you pay for .

  • when i got mine i changed my grips and they were hell to get off.. i had to sit there with a razor and scrape and cut every inch of them off..a 5 minute job took 2 hours..

  • @bananapuffcream1 hey bro, was looking at getting a KX250F but the 2 stroke caught my eye, what one do you think is better?

  • @bobcat1293 Yeah dude I would really recommend the 250f then. If you can ride a bike then you'll have no problem with the 250f and keeping up with them. Good luck bro

  • @bananapuffcream1 I dont really want it to be my #1 sport but some of the people i ride with ride at lorreta lynns every year and i wanna be able to keep up with them

  • @bobcat1293 Well I would say the 250 since you wont be racing a whole lot but I would definitely get the 450 if you planned to make motocross your number one sport but it's your choice bro. They're both unbelievable.

  • I get mine next week

  • @bananapuffcream1 not a whole lot maybe later on when i get better but not yet i still am going to college to play football also but im 6'3" 247 lbs

  • @bobcat1293 Well the KX450F's are the most powerful 450's out there and anyone no matter what they're preferred brand is will say that its the most powerful and intense and strongest 450 out there. My dad has 2012 and it is just a beast but it's really too strong for me so I stay on my 125 but considering your height and weight, I would get the 450 but its a really strong bike dude. Are you planning to race ??

  • im 6'3" 245 and i have some experience riding not much though my last bike was an 03 kx250 2 stroke but im getting a new one and i can't decide kawi 250f or kawi 450f keep in mind im a heavier set guy and pretty strong but still a bit inexperienced what do you you guys think i should do?
