She's so gone (Chapter 1)

I heard my alarm clock ringing, it was ringing in my ears. I groaned as I sliped my arm out from the covers and hit it with the palm of my hand, shutting it off I let out a sigh as I got out of bed. Throwing my hair up and slipping into some comfy clothes and started making my way out of the house. That was the goal. To make it out of the house, unheard from anyone. Hearing some movements in my parents room, i took in a small breath as I clenched my book to my chest. "Juliet?" I heard my name and turned my head to look at the stairs. Seeing my little sister Lizzie rubbing her eyes a smile formed to my lips. My little sister Lizzie was only 9 but she was the center of my world. I'd risk my life to save her if It was needed. I carefully made my way up to her and put a hand on her cheek as I wiped her tears. "Sweetie, I need you to go back to bed okay?.." I asked as I bit my lip. Shaking her head, she slipped her hands around my neck, pulling me closer to her. "But I'll miss you.." Her voice sounded tired and I smiled a little. "I'll be back home soon.. I promise.. and I'll help mama finish home-schooling.. alright?" with that, I kissed her forehead and walked out of the house, softly closing the door behind me. The sun was barely up, which is how I liked it. I loved watching the sun come through the treees in the morning. I walked away from my house, my bag on my shoulder and my book under my arm. I felt invisible. I always did. To the kids in my school, I was Juliet - the no friended loser. At home, I was Juliet the servant. Always serving my mother & Father. Always doing chores. Making sure everything was perfect. The only real time I had to myself, was when I would lay with Lizzie to calm her to sleep from her night-mares. That was all.
