Mark Hamill is doing the cartoonish version of the Joker, and he has just the voice and technique for the Joker, just as Heath. But as I mentioned earlier; Heath as the Joker is a more realistic version. Both are perfect for their charachters, in their own ways.
I think Ledger and Hamill are really good in their own, different ways. Christopher Nolan has made a more realistic version of Batman. The Joker didn't get a disfigured face from a toxicated sewer (like in Batman by Tim Burton) He actually USES paint in his face, and you can see him without make-up aswell. :P And I think that Heath pulls it off great as THAT version of the Joker. He is evil, nuts, funny, clever and angry (and more realistic, if you get my point)

i agree 100% all my friends tell me heath is better, how is cutting a multi-dimensional character better?
