@jholleyjr2 Nope... this is a Google experience device - no additions from Samsung. Only comes with the default Android keyboard!

Does voice to text work without a network present and how good is it ?- could you use it to automatically transcribe a work meeting for instance? The iphone's Dragon Dictate can do that.

@umpcowner Unfortunately not! The voice-to-text feature uses Google's cloud-based transcription service. Transcription is good at times and atrocious at other times. There's also a fair bit of latency (maybe this is due to my network connection though) so it wouldn't be fast enough to keep up with a meeting at work in realtime. Though there might be an application which can record the meeting and then transcribe it afterwards?

That lock means its rooted did you root it or did it come like that ???

@blkrse22 Mine came like that! I don't think it's rooted - I just tried running some apps requiring root with no success.

I was disappointed when 4.0 didnt have it, but after a while of searching, I found out about the beta.

@blkrse22 it means the boot loader is unlocked not if the phone is rooted, two completely different things
