@NomadGT are you on crack??? a vette is way ligher
-
Just spray his ass

I'd sure hope so. The vette has at least 100 hp more stock than my Mustang and is lighter.
-
just remember the liters are the most important thing. There is no replacement for displacement. That corvette could beat that stang stock.

Well NomadGT I now have a 2000 FRC Vette the curb weight is 3096lbs I have the 6spd a newly broke in centerforce dual friction clutch 3.42 gears a H/C/I/ full Exhaust poly mounts and a tune from horsePower sales in Pompano Bch Fl. In total I am out approximately 20,500 bucks, including cost of car. I am laying down 450 to 465rwhp. It fucking rips and I am so happy I rid myself of my old 2002 GT (sold for 14G's). I will miss it and forever have a fondness for the Mustang but Ill never go back!!

A vette is not lighter by all means. I and the fact that you are comparing a stock (2v 4.6L) engine to a 5.7L is weak. a terminator runs 11s and that is a 4.6L 4v S/C engine. If your talking cost then your in the wrong sport. I think you read to many forums. By the way the curb weight of the 99-04 GT is roughly 3270lbs. for the V8 premium. Plus a K member and seat delete lower that as well, 2 cheap mods the Vette doesn't have.

you should add a stall, 125 shot and slicks or D/R's to that stang. should get you there or atleast pretty close. just remember the heads are the most important part of the car, so if you can afford to, put ur money there.

Yeah this is why I am selling my 2002 and actually getting a C5 with intake, exhaust and a tune. Lighter more powerfull platform to build on. Not to mention that the cost to build decent HP on a Mustang is rediculous.
Yea I definitely know this lol.... I have a Borla catback exhaust, 3.73's, Mac straight shot cold air intake, Mac air plenum, Ford Racing 70 mm throttle body, and a Pro 5.0 shifter and I can't get the car to run better 13.7 with street tires. Vettes are sick but they are a little too pricey for me. By the way, the car in that video ran in the 11s and the guy driving it was like 70 years old.
