Taken from the 2007 album 'Re-Animator', I have used this song about the 6th century Celtic bard Taliesin as a homage to his people, the Welsh-speaking Britons of Yr Hen Ogledd (the old north) and their post-Roman, dark-age kingdoms. They were absorbed over time by the Scottish Gaelic Kingdom of Alba and Anglian Northumbria. All but forgotten today, but their descendants live on as proud Scots and Englishmen in what is now Strathclyde, the Lothians, Dumfries & Galloway, Cumbria, West Yorkshire and Lancashire.
