Hajenius revisited once more, a few more photos which I hope give the viewer a better idea of it's stunning interior.

  • Remarkable store. The sheer number of pipes alone makes it worthwhile, I especially liked that Wallenstein on the window display. Still, I was most impressed with the variety of tobaccos that are sold in the Netherlands: all the W.O. Larsen and MacBaren varieties and even some I don't quite recognize (the round tins above the Peterson shelf?)

    Thanks for another wonderful tour, Sir!

  • @DailyPuffer To many to mention Bruno, the round ones are Sir William, a dutch up market blend launched a couple of years ago, by a cigar company...not popular at all....they should have stuck to cigars.

  • Thanks much for that little tour. Wonderful place. Interesting tobacco selection, at least what I could see. I'm told that pouches are more popular in Europe than here in North America.

  • Very nice store,we have nothing like that in Montana

  • Beautiful shop! Thanks for the upload!

  • Nice video Pearse, makes me miss being able to make a short drive up from Germany. I hope to make it down to Amsterdam again sometime in the early summer next year. Hopefully I can meet up with you and Sander again for a few pipes and cigars.

  • Amazing shop.

    regards

    Mark

  • what a great shop my friend

  • good stuff dub

  • Wow...super jealous! Wish I had a tobacco-pipe shop like that around here! All i have are cut rate liquor and cigarette shops. I have toyed with opening a pipe shop but don't think it would go over too well in "redneckville"

    Ken =)

  • Hi!

    It's always an adventure to see tobacco stores all over the world. Although it's only on YouTube. Therefore: Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers

    Lars

  • Thanks for sharing! Hopefully one day I'll get to Amsterdam to do a little geneology searching and stop by the store. That would be a fun trip...
