    Vinegar will also cause excessive pitting. Best bet is a Ultrasound hotbath.

  • 2 days in vinegar will do the same thing and much cheaper.

  • If you don't want ur engine to rust in the first place wipe it down with phosphoric acid and it wont rust.

  • Sometimes I am in the business. I definitely need that *water*! :-)
