i just completed the game for the second time yesterday on hard... i think the ending was rubbish - i wanted to know how well i had done ie how many years it took me, how many battles won / lost, etc. But no, just a movie..

you could have kept track of that yourself,(except for troops killed etc.) but yea, it would have been nice to know all that stuff at the end...

The videos can be found on the Shogun TW CD... I played many games, but Shogun has the best ending I've seen. The producers could have thrown in something common and nobody would notice, but instead they made an original and brilliant ending. It shows how Japan changed dramatically since th events in the game, but the legend remains!

@Laconic913 oh, ok. I didn't know how customized the endings were since I refused to watch the other endings until I played them myself. Still haven't ;) So I watched the other endings and they're a lot less customized than I thought. Meh, no big deal. Still a great game.

@fowad27 He always talks about your skirl in bat-uhl. The only thing that changes is the statue. What you're talking about is the campaign outro...talks about the shogun's immediate future, including throwing the Christians out of Japan.

So takeda is the only clan that gets this ending? I just finished the game for the first time with takeda, and was wondering if anything in the ending was clan-specific. Is there anything else? For instance,I think the part where it says "we drove the christians from the land and returned to the old ways" must be different if you happened to convert to christianity.
