Sierra Madre [Contest] | AUDITIONS [OPEN]

"You've heard stories of the Sierra Madre Casino. We all have. This story's different than the others. It's all in promise of beginnings. And the ending."

Perhaps you were searching for the rumored treasure or maybe you actually believed that woman's words. Either way you were promised a new beginning, and that you got. Who I am is not important. All you need to know is that you have a job to carry out. Don't complete it, or try and work alone, you're done. The others are there for a reason. Manipulate them or work with them, it doesn't matter. Your goal is to reach the Sierra Madre Casino. There you will be rewarded your "new beginning". Think you're up to it?

Instructions --
You will be expected to follow each and every one of my rules. Listen to what I say, then do it. If you decide to break them, or miss a step, you're gone. Simple as that.

How this will work;
1. There are various parts of Sierra Madre that you will have to explore before you get into the casino. The Villa is where you will start. Each round, you'll be placed in another area of the Sierra Madre.
2. You will be given certain amounts of time to finish your tasks. Extensions will not be given unless under extreme circumstances.
3. Old contestants thought they should leave notes behind, to warn you about me and what is in the Sierra Madre Casino. Don't listen to them, they're delirious.
4. Everyone can get to the casino. It all depends on whether you decide you're worthy enough to know the secrets of the Sierra Madre. If everyone happens to make it to the casino, I will choose three people I think deserve what's inside.
5. You will have various partners throughout your time in the Villa. Though you won't be paired up throughout the entire contest, you NEED to communicate when paired. Your tasks can either be done together or separately. [You have a choice of a collab or individual videos showing both of you completing your tasks.]

Rules;
1. All editing programs are allowed, although your ability to manipulate your preference of program will be judged as well.
2. Your entries must be a minute or more. This is not a BBT so I expect you all to be able to produce longer videos.
3. You will be required to come up with a story as this is a story based contest. You will stick with your chosen character and story throughout your time here, so choose wisely.
4. Your audition video can be anything and any length. It just tells me that you are interested in the contest. If you audition, you are not obligated to participate. I will send pm's to those who auditioned to see if you are still interested.
5. In the description of your audition video please list five characters that you would like to be represented by during the contest and what they are looking to get out of the Sierra Madre. [A little side-note, please be original with your choices. I would be severely depressed if everyone picks characters from FF&KH.]
6. As previously stated, extensions will not be given out often. Deadlines will be quite long from the start, probably about a month or so.
7. Put this quote in the description of your audition video as well. "Begin again -- but know when to let go." This is so I know you've read the rules.

Words do not express my excitement. I've had contest ideas rolling around in my head for about a year now, but thanks to school and me just not having the time, they never were finished. Until now that is!

I'm really really excited for this, so hopefully there will be enough auditions and whatnot. I have some fun ideas as well, so if you feel like auditioning, DO IT. I have this nagging feeling I'm forgetting something... if I am, and you have questions, feel free to ask!
