@InfragilisTerminatio Actually, Hitler and Germany declared war on the U.S.A. about 2 days after the U.S. declared war on Japan. The Axis used the attack on Pearl Harbor to get the U.S. into the war. The Americans were informed of the Axis decision in the usual fashion -- sneak attack.

@OrodesIII Not at all. Hitler declared war on the USA. Not the other way around.
Rather the USA was dragged into war when the tide had already turned.

Taking the Sudeten land had no excuse and still doesn't. The benefits Hitler got from this tiny part of Czechoslovakia gave him the chance to take far more land. Germany before this point had a weak spot on the Czech border as there could be an easy scissor movement applied by the allies. The Sudeten land contained most of the Czech forces/defences. Once Germany tuck this land it left Czechoslovakia defenceless and so they tuck the lot and Poland to follow. With Czecholvakia, Poland and Austria
The Holy Land!

@STOPTHEEU The U.S declared war on Germany, because Japan was allied with Germany. Id say Pearl Harbor was used to get the U.S into Europe. Pearl Harbor was a set up.
