This is the first in (hopefully) a series of LittleBigPlanet music levels, based on game, movie and (possibly) regular music. This was captured on my roommate Mark's PS3.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get our Ethernet connection working through the campus internet server, so this video preview will have to do. I hope you enjoy it!

And yes, Dr. Mario's "Chill" theme is next (as you may have noticed in the menu navigation beforehand) but I'm nowhere near done that one yet. Don't get your hopes up, kids.

I still haven't managed to get an RCA splitter, so the clumsy menu navigation is because of the one-second lag between input and Dazzle displaying it on screen.

  • Hey, GOOD JOB! pwnedTAS, if you wouldn't mind, send me a friend request. I have some cool music levels too. My PSN is TheJollyRajah. Maybe we can work together to bring game music

    joy to the world.

  • My only problem is a lack of PS3-friendly internet :(. Feel free to PM me though if you have any ideas. Right now I'm having issues getting multiple notes to play simultaneously on one box - perhaps you can help me out?

  • What is your method of doing it? Do you attach all the notes to a sensor, or what? Tell me exactly and I might have the answer.

  • I place them as regular speakers and the notes play when Sackboy hits the trigger radius. What's the "proper" way then?

  • Holy crap, this is awesome :D

My favorite song from Gradius is Burning Heat (Gradius II)

Is this published? I want to play it!!!

  • Unfortunately, no. My roommate hasn't been able to get the PS3 to connect to our campus Internet server. And I'm sure this level would get moderated anyway if it was published.

  • hahaha thats so fricken sweeet.

  • Is that supposed to be a Ron Weasley n Harry Potter mixed Sackboy lol

  • If you have three notes that play at once (or 4, or 5 or whatever amount), hook them all up to one single sensor. That will eliminate all the problems you're having, dude. The problem is that the radius of the notes that are elevated are also elevated, and so whenever you run by a set of notes the bottom ones play first and then the top ones. I hope I make sense.
