DRI International Announces DRI 2012: The Certified Professionals Conference

(New York, NY), DRI International today announced that it is launching a business continuity conference and exhibition, DRI 2012, to be held May 20-23, 2012, at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.

"We're very excited about DRI 2012," says Alan Berman, DRI International's Executive Director. "And our community is too. We've already received enthusiastic support and look forward to the first-ever gathering of certified professionals in our industry. This is truly an event by and for certified professionals, with the topics they want to hear about and a refreshing new take on conference programming."

The full conference program is slated to be released in July, and Berman promises fresh faces and formats, as well as challenging content befitting the audience. "Our attendees are certified, senior-level people. We know that in order to serve them we need to raise the bar and produce an event that is exceptional in every way."

As the premiere global certification and training body for business continuity, business resiliency, and continuity of operations professionals, DRI International has an obligation - and the influence - to see that the level of content and opportunity is unparalleled. Additionally, there are several carefully-crafted special events that will be announced shortly.

In addition to the conference program and special events, the exhibit hall will feature leading industry vendors and a way to meet with them that has never before been seen at a business continuity conference. "Creating the opportunity for meaningful interactions between vendors and attendees is our goal," says Berman.

Also atypical is the venue, The Roosevelt, the crown jewel of New Orleans. After a $145 million renovation and restoration, the Waldorf Astoria/Hilton property combines the convenience of modern technology and services with the rich history of New Orleans. "The Roosevelt is the perfect setting for our event, Berman says. "It is a first-rate hotel for a first-rate conference."
