Whale Mountain (by Little Wings) -- Greg Goad @ Forester Pass, PCT 2008

As we bumbled and stumbled our way through the desert and into the High Sierra of California on the PCT, Chris and I sang songs. This song was a favorite, and I made an Impromptu video atop Forester Pass -- Yes I carried that guitar over 1000 miles.

I posted this a few years ago, but now You Tube allows bigger files. This one's way better Quality.

On the original post I was pleased at some comments the video received -- the first was : "doesn't do the original song justice" the next comment was: "does to the original song exactly what it deserves." Well, I just hope Kyle Field of Little Wings gets to find out that some guy carried a guitar 1000 miles on foot with Whale Mountain stuck in his head, and then played it at 13,500 feet -- the high point of the Pacific Crest Trail. Good thing the wind didn't blow the camera over.
