@charlesjohnsonisthem Honking is more a necessity. I visited China a few times and this is pretty norm. Its not a get out of the way but more of a I am here. Everyone drives this way Ive learned just to go with it.

yes taxi drivers in China are nuts , you are right cuz I'm from China, but what you are wrong is that you don't know about china, there are couple THOUSANDS of taxis in a small town, taxi drivers have to compete with each other to make more money to feed their family, because they are basicly poor people.

Oh yea yea I remember that I was travel in china. Same thing our private tour driver was crazy driver. Many time almost crash with wrong way!
