Norwegian outdoors expert Lars Monsen embarks on an exciting adventure in Nordkalotten, the area of Scandinavia north of the Arctic Circle.
In this episode, Lars takes a tour through Lemmenjoki National Park in Finland, a place which has natural treasures both above and below ground. He carries all he needs for a month in his rucksack, and shows the viewer how to do it. In between fishing trips, he meets some modern-day gold prospectors. He finishes by meeting an old friend at a cabin, and doing even more fishing!
