Abundant scientific research, and every gay whom I know, says that it is no more a choice than is heterosexuality. The only choice involves ignoring or following inborn personal inclinations.

Bigots spout the "it's a choice" nonsense because they wish to deny equal rights to people whom, for whatever ignorant reason, they fear or hate.

Even if it *were* a choice, people have the right to make their own choices, including their choice of marriage partner.

@kenfo0 Umm, dunno how it's forced on children in schools, since you aren't able to teach about it. Not sure if you've seen the "L" word, but there was a lot of drama, and gays are shown in both lights, positive and negative. I'm sorry, but if it weren't thrown in everyones face, nothing would change. Also, they said drugs were good for you in the 70's, shows how much they knew. I mean really can't prove either way, but I will listen to gays that say "why would I choose to be discriminated?"

If homosexuality were "normal", there'd be no need to have it forced at children in schools, shown on tv only in a positive light, and CONSTANTLY thrown in everyone's face. The fact of the matter is that it is aberrant BEHAVIOR. Your argument of "science says"....is absurd. In the seventies, homos were prancing around saying it was a positive choice.
