Thanks for the tut man, OC'ed to 4,3ghz without chaning volts or anything :)
-
@Svampface hmm, nvm, perhaps with this mobo I don't have to make any changes to the memory settings, other than just choosing what frequency it is... cool :-)
-
@Svampface there must be some sort of rule of thumb to know how the settings of your OC would change depending on what memory your using..maybe you could shed some light on it.. Thanks :-)
-
@Svampface thanks :-)
I was going to get the same mobo as you, and then pair it with this memory...
G.SKILL F3-12800CL6T-6GBPI Pi Series 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL6-8-6-20 240PIN Triple Channel Memory Kit
I was helped in the past to do OC'ing, but I haven't read much about it, and so I don't know what changes I would make to my OC settings for my CPU going from one set of memory to another.. like I wouldn't use these settings if I was using different memory than what your using...

@Smiffy918 True :)

Whoa, I just noticed ObsLoD's comment, I missed it the first time I read these, but it looks like he has the same as I.

TY @ Smiffy918

also, I have the I7 2700K 3.5 cpu. How would your instructions here relate to the cpu that I have?
-
@computerdad327 that was because he already had these setting on when he started
-
My 2600k will on stay at turbo mode, even when i close every open program... :S turbo is enabled
-
This worked perfectly for my 2700k on p8z68v. 103.2 bclck 50 multi 1.4v 5.16Ghz Thanks.
-

"Where is Sarah Connor?"
Don't follow this guide!!! He's trying to get Skynet setup. Haha.

Thank you for the very helpful video!

I'm new to this but what I want to be doing is take my 3.3GHz i5 up to 3.5GHz... Don't want 4.5GHz... What would I do different to this tutorial? Would I just set the 'by all calls' to 35? What would the CPU voltage need to be set to? Any pointers? Any pointers appreciated.

send me your address and i'll fly over and give you a complementary hand job thanks so much

omg i was getting a BSOD at boot with default settings with this hardware. now my computer is stable using this vid and it's running at a higher clock rate than before it broke. thank you so much sir
Thanks man this video is awesome I was using settings the Asus tuner used in windows but ever since I updated to latest bios my voltage was .75-.100v higher at load then with the older bios. I tried your settings and everythings stable ran Prime95 for couple hours. Voltage is now where it was before on older bios 1.375 at full load @ 4.8GHZ. Also temps are lower than before as well u the man thanks again.

OK OK....the tips you give seem ok but I noticed that you didnt select 'save settings" when you closed the BIOS. You suggest these settings but you dont save them at the end? That seems a little shadey to me. Check for yourself at 2:16...he selects "discard changes" even if you did that on purpose, you didnt say anything about that to the viewer.

@computerdad327 already had these setting on when I started
