Thanks! I love Afro-Peruvian music and went to Peru to study the rhythms. I've always loved funk and R&B and Bernard Purdie was a big influence on my playing.Fusing both rhythms just happened naturally while I was working alot on applying Afro-Peruvian rhythms to the drums. The feel of the rhythms just blended nicely with the Purdie Shuffle.Thanks again ! I really appreciate your comments!
