why do i get write error: No space left on device?
-
Worked on my Galaxy S (I9000) with Cyano for tomorrow (CM7)
-
WORK on cm7 (HTC desire HD) is not Cm7 but is based on CM7
-
Also works on my Samsung Galaxy ACE with Cyanogen 7.2 Android 2.3.7.
My GPS aways had a poor signal on Runkeeper and Sygic, and was too slow to find, but now it finds me in seconds, also inside my room.

I installed the latest nightly build 253 and the latest radio, which u can download an the cyanogen website. after that the GPS showed up in the status bar but didn't connect. After that I tried like shown in the video, now GPS works.
To all that ask... As far as I know it doesn't work for the Evo 4G or the First HTC Desire... I have been told it only works on Desire HD, T-mobile G2, Desire Z and Mytouch4G... Someone did mention it working on the Mytouch3G Slide. But I wouldn't just blindly throw this code at your device. You might end up with a Brick! Any other phones, I would search the XDA forums for GPS fixes.

after i typed dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 i got an error saying cannot open for write: permision denied, what do i do
Salty123truck 3 months ago
@Salty123truck You need to type su before any other code, that gives you super user permission... make sure to follow all steps carefully or you will brick your phone.

my unrooted desire hd gps never works. apart from taking it back or rooting it, is there any way to fix it??

@richardson84 I would check the XDA forums thread for the Desire and see what they have found. There is usualy a fix for problems there...

@HBGadgetHacks I found a fix for a nexus one GPS lock error. Download an app called GPS status, turn on GPS and using the app leave it to lock and fix, can take upto 30mins but it works. I now get locks after 10 to 118 seconds.
