Great song, I remember it well. I was 15 years old and lived on Long Island not far from Queens, NY. Thanks for the download.

@doowopbabyt Ok gotcha but what you were writing was a little misleading. It sounded to me like you were showing pics of NY 61 to go along with this great S Brooklyn record from 61. BTW the bass singer rumored to be Felix Cavaliere

@BobbyDelRiv I wish I had pics of NYC 1961. Thanks for your comments. I only have a few videos on TouTube and I never stayed with it or mastered the technique. Too time consuming, plus I'm old :-) I checked your channel and I like it. Awesome. The I Wonder Why video blew me away.

I was born in this year and I don't remember listening to this type of music. This music gos back to the 1950's that's before my time.

@edwardoalvarez22. You are correct. The music you grew up on in the 70's an 80's was the evolution of this and other post World War II music. I would not expect you to remember a song from the year you were born. Also, this song was primarily popular in NYC with minor popularity only in the NE United States. Because of it's style it was relatively unheard of elswhere.
