This shelter is located in the north part of Oaxaca, a hot and dry place, thats why the design has to take advantage from its form and from its material and respond to its context. Is based on a really great material "adobe", who is responsible for the climate conditions of the shelter, the spaces between bricks have a especial importance for the control of the wind flow, and the differences in temperature and as an entrances of lights. The thinest part is the exposed to the sun, but in the afternoon, the back part is exposed for receive the heat of the sunset and irradies it at night make it confortable at night, the concave part is exposed to the primary winds for take them to the interior and to promove the flow of the heat to the upper part for its own shelter shape.
Track: Leon Bolier - Summernight Confessions (Intro Mix) (Edit)
I render it in podium, and animate in podium under the stop motion technique. The final video is edited in iMovie.

its not exactly advantage like aerodynamic or something like that, is more like to promote the movement of the air who ins for the walls, and to move for the upper part, when the air passes through the adobe walls it gets colder and goes to down, and with the use of the space the cold air ups to the superior part (through the table and bed) and refresh the entire space favored by the curved walls who guides the way of the air. I forgot to write that this shelter is for a hot and dry area.
