In less than 1 month, Higbee put together a team to compete in the 2009 Daytona 200. It was a huge effort involving many volunteers which paid off with an incredible start to the 2009 race season.

  • Redeiko you are totally ignorant.. people like you make me laugh.. its a totally different type of bike.. its a torque bike vs the hp bikes... the engine size doesn't matter, they are competitive, thats what matters.. its not like he went out there and cruised into a first place finish you idiot

  • Funny how all the ricers bitch about a STOCK motor when the 600cc were allowed motor mods not to mention weigh was added to the Buell to make the hp to weight ratio fair to the 600's. Buell's back on the track. Now in superbike as soon as May is comfortable on the 1190 we will here the ricer up roar once again! You fucking cry babies! FYI AMA has added an extra 20 pounds to the 1190 because it weighs less than the other bikes. The 1190 proves Erik can build bikes when H-D is out of the picture!

  • really, congrats for qualifying a 1125 cheater that isn't even really homologated against some 600cc machines and you're really proud of yourself? stop trying to save buell ama, it's over, no more american cheaters.

  • Way to Go Shawn! You are a great inspiration.

  • Bummer,for next year!

  • Congratulations. I get my Firebolt serviced at Bartels and Mitsu works on it sometimes. I'm SO sorry (and angry) about what's happened. I was just at Bartels this morning and I asked about any future for Higbee racing on the 1125R.

  • Good Job Shawn!! Now you need to get a 1125RR for next year in superbike!

  • Just to cool! Remember to keep the Handsome side up!!
