I had the chance to pick up both S.H.I.E.LD. and Thor and the Warriors Four. I loved S.H.I.E.L.D.

I loved Thor and The Warriors Four! I picked it up cause I wanted to see Alex's writing. I'm a casual Thor fan, and I have little knowledge of Power Pack outside of the 80's series. I was pleased to see that I didn't have to know so much continuity and I could dive right in. There's a lot of strong emotional set-up and I don't mind that. I need to know these people to care. I can't wait issue 2 !

Internet pirates got me my copy of Warriors 4 - FUCK YOU, Forbidden Planet - but I'm buying the trade.

Does anyone at all think Grandma Power is gonna make it? SHE DEAD, I don't think anyone believes otherwise - which is my main issue. It reads like it's building up to nothing else, and that overshadows the rest of what I think is a well-written book with some fun beats, a nice line in kid-friendly concepts and a couple of good character touches.
