@insatiableTy That's what I was trying to say. The SS has the ram air intake, where the Z28 does not. You are also correct on the powersteering cooler.
All V8 Camaro and Firbird cars received the LS6 intake manifold in 2001 and 2002. Both Z28 and SS got it.

@Quatermain98526 um you are completely wrong about the intake, have you even lifted the hood of an SS? the Hoodscoop was for the RAM-Air intake, which the Z28's did not have.The SS models also had a few extra options the Z28 didnt have in the 4th gen such as a power steering cooler and LS6 manifold (although i think the later Z's got the LS6 i.m. as well)

@insatiableTy Wrong. The only difference was the SS hoodscoop, SS spoiler, 17 inch SS wheels, a larger front sway bar, and a forced air induction from the hood scoop. Then of course SS badges. Exhaust and Cam were the same. Power was 310 for Z28 and 325 for the SS, but that was a marketing ploy. They make the same power.
