If you don't feel like watching the video, here is the deal... I am doing an assignment for a class. I have chosen to make a documentary style video on the fashion/modeling industry and it's impact on eating disorders/body image.

Here is where you come in:
If you could send me a video or a written response (or whatever you want, really) about how the industry impacts you in terms of body image or sense of self that would be GREATLY appreciated.
I will hopefully be posting this online once it is finished so you can see the end product.

  • Why'd you go back to blonde? I liked you better as a brunette!

  • @TRIXHOMO Because blonde is my natural color and my agency wants me to be blonde. I've been blonde for almost a year now...

  • ARE YOU THE REAL LEXIE OF ANTM CYCLE 15

  • you+Esther+Kayla+Chelsey=Awsomeness

  • ur deadline for this is up already? just realised that ur on youtube haha. i nv really thot you would be on youtube. :)

  • It impacts on me in two ways

    1. The fact that fashion houses and designers are globalising their lines shows that there is a global culture emerging and that maybe fashion is distinguisingh the economically privileged (those wearing versace) and the less wealthy (wearing supre)

    2. It directly impacts me because it informs me that humans can use their bodies in interesting ways. Looking at photos, you see poses and it makes people interested in how movement can stimulate a sense of being?

  • @ReneeTDIComps Don't feed the trolls

  • im only 14 and my mother is already trying to get me into the modeling industry! i am not anorexic either, but the only way it effects me is that it can be stressful. One 13 year old i meet in the building where my mom wanted ot sign me to, the 13 year old girl was anorexic. i was eating lunch with her, and all she ate was like 1/4 of a carrot. i feel bad for anorexic people because their looks revolve around how they eat.

  • @sveccha15 lol u wud kill urself over a tv show? and a plus sized model has already won americas next top model.... watch cycle 10.

  • I would talk about the damage religion has caused society.

  • Blonde again woo! but I think you will look better with longer hair though :)

  • Hi Lexie! I weigh 326 lbs and the fashion industry makes me want to kill myself. It's so hard being heavy when all your idols are skinny. I tried killing myself before and if Tyra doesn't let a plus size win ANTM soon I think I will kill myself for real this time. :(
