The Spirit of Washington Dinner Train

On the way to church on Sunday February 18,2007, we were stopped by the unexpected, Spirit of Washington Dinner Train.When I first saw the lights begin flashing,I instantly grabbed up my camera and began filming(I didn't even know I had brought my camera and when I saw it I was SO happy)I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do. Did you know that the Dinner Train is COMPLETLEY out of service? It is no longer running in Tacoma or Renton! Who knows what is going to happen to the train itself. The eastside line at the train depot and the bridge between the two crossings in this video have been replaced so it is perfect for the Dinner Train to run in Renton again. The BNSF trains are back using it so why can't the dinner train? Its sad! :(

I know, I saw the bridge replaced and I just saw BNSF train passing by as well. Maybe we should do something to get the dinner train back in renton. It just doesn't seem fair.

One appears to be near the Renton station. The other is across from Liberty Park near onramp to I405. I'll have to dig up my 1994 video when we were on the train.
