@Potatopte I think this must have been a "special" case since she had been notorious for her fast decision making and wise-cracking judgements way before Judge judy. That's what made her a judge in criminal court. In fact she had retired already when they approached her with the judge judy idea, I'm guessing BECAUSE of her reputation.
