a flash application allows you to assign pitches (musical notes) to the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0. It then plays Pi as a series of musical notes, playing the appropriate pitch when its corresponding number appears in Pi. I wrote a song using this website as a starting point, using the notes from the C major scale.
This was composed for "Pi Day", an annual celebration of the number that happens at the middle school where I teach.
