"Night." Miley said quietly and watched Nick retreat into the bedroom. She lay down on the couch, uncomfortable with how her dress was riding up when Nick opened the door again, this time dressed in some flannel pajamas. She looked at him confused and started to laugh. "Nice jammies."
"My mother got me these." He said and walked out farther from the bedroom into the living room. "I haven't worn them yet, so I figured I should tonight." He moved toward the front door, "I forgot to lock it." He explained as he switched the lock.
"Got it?" She asked and watched in amusement when Nick walked back into his bedroom again. "Night," she giggled when he closed the door again. She laughed to herself. She was about to snuggle into the blankets when the crack of the door brought her attention to Nick. "Back again?"
He walked back out, this time without the pajamas shirt on and smiled brightly. "I forgot some water . . . don't want a hangover tomorrow." He told her and walked into the kitchen, filling up a cup and taking a sip.
"That's smart." She said and shook her head again, giggling.
"Good night again," he told her once more and shut the door.
She sat up and began to take out her earrings until she heard the door open once again and laughed without even turning around to see what the reason was for him being awake now.
"I know . . . I know I forgot something else . . ." He said, baring nothing on his toned body. Miley still hadn't looked at him yet and he walked by the couch. He snapped as the thought came to him, "I'm hungry!" He announced and went to grab a box of cookies.
Miley turned and covered her face, laughing as she saw a flash of Nick's butt. "Oh, my god . . ." She peeked through her fingertips and squealed before covering her eyes again. "What are you doing?" She laughed.
"What is so funny?" Nick asked as he held the box in front of himself.
"Oh, well, you're . . ." She covered her eyes once again. "Nick . . ."
He grabbed a cookie from the box and ate it as Miley continued to laugh at him. "Want a cookie?" he offered. "No?" He looked down at the box when Miley finally uncovered her eyes and looked at him.
"No!" She laughed and turned away from his cookies. "Nick . . ." her cheeks were stained pink as he walked away.
"Fine, it's your loss," he said and went back into the room with his box of cookies. "If you change your mind, you know where they are." He told her as he ate another cookie and closed the door.
Miley looked at him and laughed before turning away, blushing at his behavior. She stopped laughing when she heard Nick turn off the lights and she looked down at the blankets. She got up and decided to change out of her dress and into some more comfortable pajamas. She heard the door open as she was fighting with her dress zipper and she froze. She didn't turn as Nick came back out with a pair of jeans and approached her.
His hand glided over her exposed shoulder as he swept her hair away from her neck. When she craned her head and allowed him access, he brought his lips to her neck eagerly as his other hand caressed her body. Gradually, his hands went up to hold her face as he hungrily kissed her lips. He pulled back for a moment and looked into her eyes, gently stroking her cheeks before meeting her lips again.
Their noses bumped and Miley's eyes blazingly bored into his. Fire seemed to burn her skin wherever his hands touched her and her back arched against him.
With each kiss, Nick inched her closer to the bedroom. He closed the door behind him and lay her down on the bed, his lips kissing at every patch of exposed skin. He reached back and helped her out of her dress, his eyes focused intently on hers. "Beautiful . . ." he breathed against her skin as she shivered underneath him.
