The V/O of the "Wonder Woman" promo was Norm Stevens. It also sounds, from this, that he also handled V/O for the "CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite" for a few months in 1972 between the end of Harry Kramer's reign and the beginning of Bob Hite's as opening and closing announcer.

@LMNFanNTVadBuff Lynda Carter won't be replaced as Wonder Woman, and she was my introduction to that character, after all.
-
@deckard97 In this particular era, definitely not.Catherine Bach and the Dukes Of Hazzard came along very shortly after this, mind you.

I have all three season, on dvd. I actually watched her, when I was young, and, Lynda Carter was the best WW in my book.

With plans underway, for a new WONDER WOMAN series from David E Kelly,NBC
and Warner Bros-the original series is still the best and Finest version to date! this
rare CBS promo of the 1977-78 season,is also proof, that the original series was so
special, that,,after ABC aired the series(begining with THE NEW ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN in late 1975)plus the hour long episodes-CBS included the
series in it's Fall 77 line-up,when ABC chose not to renew it. but still, the WW II
era was better!

Interesting that none of the clips were from the CBS seasons.

When ABC dropped the series from its schedule in the spring of 1977, CBS was only too happy to pick it up for the fall on Friday nights [at 8pm(et)], where it stayed for two seasons: Lynda stayed with the network for several more, in variety specials and TV movies.
By the way, the scenes in this promo are from the original ABC series [Donfeld's redesigned WW costume for Lynda, making it look more like a spandex swimsuit, was introduced on CBS that fall], as no new footage was available.
Lynda Carter a babe then and a babe now-Was there a more beautiful woman aside from Charlie's Angels?
