@bhoy67lisbon War is not a good thing or a glorfied thing - you are fighting under the sad sad belief that you will get virgens or glorified death under something some man created somewhere as a "god you should fear and worship" there are no gods, there are no hallowed deaths you have one life and one life only - do with it as you shall - if you want to die hating be a suicide bomber but there is no afterlife or glory just death and sadness where you left it -is that how your life ends?

@bhoy67lisbon What a total load of rubbish you have written here. Have you ever listened to the words of this song. It's all about the inner strength of an individual, nothing to do with glorifying and romanticising war.
Secondly it's the British people who raise the money for the benefit of injured soldiers. Nothing to do with the government..
Thirdly the oppressed people of the Middle East are far more likely to be oppressed by their own government.

This song is glorifying and romanticising war. The war on Terror is a facade to steal from the oppressed people in the middle East. These soldiers are being sent for all the wrong reasons! The governement then has the nerve to ask for money via the "Poppy appeal". It's time for the governement to look after the young men that they send to the middle east to get blown to bits not some appeal. The British state and Americans are the real terrorist-
