I do not try to hide my Steelers bias. However, I have tried to offer some objective analysis about how the officiating in the Super Bowl was administered. Warning, if you're a Cardinals fan (or Steelers hater) that likes to credit the officials for the Steelers unprecedented sixth Super Bowl title, you will not like what I have to say. However, it should shed some light on how one-sided the officiating in the Super Bowl really was... or wasn't.
@gf19711 Nah, just bored.Trying to stir the pot a little. I'm not even an NFL fan anymore.

@scottabreitbarth Congrats - you're a simple-minded idiot.

NFL wants money. More people like Steelers. There's your solution.

@billybobbobillybob so extending his arm in a pushing motion that actually causedthe safety to rock back... that classifies as unplanned?
We can argue about Ben's knee all day long. Fact is there is inconclusive proof to support either argument... which, by rule means that the ruling on the field stands.
missed offsides? really? wow how impactful. I bet those 10 yards would have made all the difference in the game.
Clown shoes.... keep whining.

@chuckhowe incidental- happening or likely to happen in an unplanned or subordinate conjunction with something else. their contact was minimal, mutual, and unplaned. i.e. incidental. and ben's knee was clearly down. there were also two offsides missed calls and multiple holding calls blown. since ur a steeler fan, why don't u sit down and watch the whole game again, and you'll see the bad calls. even the commentators said these calls were bad.

@billybobbobillybob Incidental contact... perhaps you should look up the definition of incidental. There is no proof that Ben's knee was down before he broke the plane. In fact, the question is whether he broke the plane prior to getting knocked backwards. He clearly drug the ball back over after he was already down. I don't think you even know why the plays are controversial. Your knowledge of the rules is shaky....
And show me a dozen experts that disagree.

@chuckhowe the fact that you don't have any proof to back up your claim proves that the refs screwed over the seahawks. i have proof. ben's knee was down before he got in the end zone. the pass interference call was incedental contact, which is not a flag. the holding penalty where the seahawks had a completion to the one yard line was offsides on pittsburgh. those plays were off the top of my head. btw, for every expert who believes the officiating was fine, there are a dozen who disagree.

What I remember about SB 43 is the safety to make it 20-16, which then gave the ball to AZ, which then score a TD. On the Steeler's game winning drive? A holding call to make it first and 20 from the 10 after a big completion. Yeah, everything was against the Cardinals though.

@giggedy4goo If you could care less, why do you respond? Most of the 70's steelers are still alive. What the fuck do steroids mean to the original topic of officiating? Fans can believe anything they want, and that still does not change the fact that the Cardinals lost or that you are still crying about something that happened more than 2 years ago. The refs don't score points, players do. What was the final score? Now tell me how little you care, cockmuncher

@giggedy4goo we all know your opinion. you have stated everything you believe about the Steelers at least three times on this thread.
