@COZYTW I...know. I am already aware. I have Pokémon on my computer already. I just don't care to replay it a lot because it doesn't have a lot of replay-ability to someone who doesn't like strategy and chess games.
@miceylulu :O Oh... Actually, you could get a free PC version of it and run that with Desmume, or you could just try POSimulator. The free PC version lets you play the game without having to buy anything, and the Pokemon Online Simluator allows you to fight the real metagame. Most of the stuff is free, but the actual wifi battles on the DS costs, albeit a much smoother animation.
@COZYTW What I mean though is that there's no point in getting a new game over an old one because the gameplay is practically the same except with a few new features. It's just not worth the money for me to buy the next version and the next, especially now that it's for DS only and I don't care enough to buy a DS when most of the games for it are fillerware.
@miceylulu True, but the fun isn't it not changing, the fun's in the predictions. Predicting what your opponent does and suchc, it's like chess marrying a stats game.
@COZYTW I don't care to keep up with any of the Pokémon past Gen 2 or 3, to be honest. And the games have never really changed since the first ones besides graphics and little gimmicks. I love Pokémon and all; I'm just done with the current stuff.
@COZYTW I gathered. And I'm not a PvP person. In general, I'm not a video game person at all.

@miceylulu :] Well, Pokemon's just a game. The metagame's where you battle other people, that's the fun in it. :]
