This is the last track from my album 'Krushed Keys', available on itunes etc. Had great fun with a green screen making this video. It is a eutopian vision of an enlightened future World where peace, scientific progress and solving climate change and povety are not blighted by religious, political, business and media interference, control and dogma. It is called 'A Future' rather than 'Future' to indicate that there are many possible futures and it is down to the people of this World to choose the type of future they want.

Somewhat influenced by Books, Podcasts and TV programmes. e.g. God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, Bad Science by Ben Goldacre, Guardian Science Podcasts, and TV documentaries presented by Brian Cox, and of course the news and current affairs in general.

Lyrics:

A future where leaders work together
To save the climate and stop mad weather
A future where religion and state
Do not sponsor violence and hate

A future where cancer cannot win
Embryonic stem cells are not a sin
A future where we explore
Atoms and planets, genomes galore

A future that's good
A future that's bright
I know we can do this
If we unite

A future media that won't sensationalise
Indoctrinate or spread bad lies
A future without oppression
Or blinding celebrity obsession

A future of democracy
Not owned by banks or industry
A future where rainforests flourish
Every child is fully nourished

Composed this track mostly on my ipod touch using nanostudio, I recorded additional vocal tracks on Cubase and mastered the tracks with AMMS, recorded the keyboard solo by controlling nanostudio with my Yamaha S90 using a line 6 midi mobilizer connection cable.

On most major download sites including itunes. http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/flying-in-the-sky-feat.-tamara/id437489501?i... . For this particular version, I strenghtened the vocals doing a bit of re-recording, extra harmony and a bit of remastering.
