question: if i apply this hedging concepts to betting (sports?) for example, technically i wouldnt make a loss every time i bet right? (i.e. i buy for the winning and losing teams) but how is it that people lose so much money betting if they employ this method? :S sorry if i sound dense...maybe there's something about this hedging method that ive missed...

hedge fund managers are getting owned. Some commiting suicide. Some were running pyramid schemes. I think hedge funds will be regulated now. Laws will be passed and they will be regulated by the SEC. I just feel sorry for the accredited indivduals who lost their hard earned money (yes i still feel sorry for them even though most accredited investors are millionairs). Mike i would like to take your classes. Hit me up with some info.
