Laila Yasmine Jones, a 3 year old toddler from Key Largo, chooses from graphic images, which to touch the dolphin, Fiji, with, her hands or her feet. Eli, her therapist, helps her. The pair move out to the middle of the lagoon and receive a kiss from Fiji on Laila's hands. Then, Laila is treated, using the system of positive reinforcement, or operant conditioning, to a dolphin jumping show as she holds the hoop through which Fiji jumps, reinforcing her correct behavior in choosing the image and saying the word hand.

  • I am a psychology major and a marine biology minor. I want to be a dolphin therapist. I love dolphins and helping people. I hope to do this. Thank you for posting such a beautiful video.
